The room of Count Bongiovanni Costa tells stories of arms and loves in a unique and fascinating environment.
Famous for his military exploits, Count Bongiovanni is considered the progenitor of the line of lords who later became counts of Arignano.
Ambassador of the Duke of Savoy to the Republic of Venice, upon returning from a diplomatic assignment he fell ill and was hosted in Brescia by the Gambara family and met the very young Paola (to whom room 5 of the Castle is dedicated), whom he married to his nephew Ludovico Antonio di to whom he is not only uncle, but also curator.
The wedding took place in Pralboino in 1486 and then the spouses returned to Piedmont where they were welcomed by solemn celebrations not only at the Bene Vagienna castle, but also at the Savoy court in Turin.
This wedding, however, will reserve many surprises… (check room 5!)
